The North Face is closing its doors after a national election.
The North Face said the closure of its popular Naked City Naturist Centre, located in Adelaide’s CBD, was the result of a range of factors including “political considerations”.
In a statement, the group said it was closing the club due to the “political and societal impact of the election results”.
“The decision was taken following a lengthy consultation process,” the statement said.
“The North Shore Naturists were one of the most popular, accessible and accessible nudist clubs in Australia.”
The North Shores Naked City is the only naturistic beach resort in the world.
The club, which opened in 2012, has been a popular spot for Australian nudists for more than a decade.
